Terms of Service

Welcome to Pixel2Vector! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our image vectorization services. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Pixel2Vector ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement.

2 Description of Service

Pixel2Vector converts supported images into vector results. You can inspect a free, watermarked preview before choosing paid access to download SVG, PDF or EPS. Website subscriptions cover interactive use; they do not include programmatic API access. Batch conversion depends on your plan's limits and whether that feature is currently enabled.

3 User Accounts

You may try limited, watermarked single-image previews without an account. An account with a verified email is required to claim a guest preview, use account features and download results. Claiming a preview does not unlock a download; eligible paid access is still required. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials

• All activities that occur under your account

• Providing accurate and current information

• Promptly updating any changes to your information

4 Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

• Upload content that infringes intellectual property rights

• Use the Service for illegal or unauthorized purposes

• Attempt unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts

• Interfere with, disrupt, or damage the Service

• Upload malicious files, viruses, or harmful content

• Use scripts, bots, automated submission or account sharing to access a personal Unlimited Web plan; high-volume genuine interactive use alone is not prohibited

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

5 Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant Pixel2Vector permission to process it for vectorization. New uploads made while signed in are also privately stored, compressed, reviewed and used to evaluate, improve and train our vectorization models, subject to applicable law and the Privacy Policy. Those account uploads are archived by default, without a separate contribution checkbox, for up to 90 days. Guest-preview uploads are kept in temporary processing storage and are not added to that model-improvement archive, including after a preview is claimed. You must have the necessary rights to provide this content for the applicable purposes. Historical uploads are not enrolled retroactively. Contact [email protected] for deletion or objections to model-improvement use.

Note: You retain all rights to the images you process through our platform. We do not claim ownership over your creative work.

6 Payments & Taxes

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Prices are in USD. The available plan, total charge, billing period, credit allowance, discounts and applicable taxes or fees are shown before you confirm checkout. Monthly plans are billed each month; yearly plans are charged in full upfront for the annual period, not in monthly installments. Stripe's terms and privacy policy apply to its payment services. New subscriptions are currently offered for Starter and Unlimited; new Free or Pro subscriptions and one-time credit packs are no longer sold. Existing subscriptions and previously purchased credits retain their applicable benefits.

Subscription access and paid credit allowances activate only after our server verifies the Stripe payment and subscription state. Opening checkout, returning to our website or canceling checkout does not itself grant credits or unlock a file. If verification is still pending, refresh Plan & credits or contact support before making another payment.

Failed, unpaid or unverified renewals do not grant a new paid allowance or verified Unlimited download access. Previously unlocked results remain subject to their existing expiry, and other available eligible paid credits remain subject to their original conditions and any refund holds.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the selected monthly or yearly interval unless renewal is canceled. Select Cancel renewal in Plan & credits to stop future renewals. Access continues until the current paid period ends, except access held or removed by a refund. Cancellation alone does not issue a cash refund; requesting a refund does not cancel renewal.

Eligible upgrades change your existing subscription rather than starting a second one. Stripe shows the charge and any proration before you confirm, and higher-plan benefits start after payment verification. When the billing period stays the same, any increase in the plan's credit allowance is prorated for the remaining period. Switching from monthly to yearly starts a new annual period, grants the target plan's annual credit allowance where applicable and expires the old subscription allowance; previously purchased credit packs are unchanged. Unlimited provides download access rather than a recurring credit allowance. Downgrades, yearly-to-monthly changes and unsupported legacy-plan changes require support review.

7 Previews, Downloads & Credits

Generating and inspecting a watermarked preview is free, subject to guest-session, network, service-wide, account and upload limits. Guest previews are raster images, not downloadable vectors. Processing a preview, including a failed conversion, does not spend download credits. Inspect the result before unlocking it; conversion quality depends on the image you provide.

For credit-based downloads, one eligible credit unlocks one file in SVG, PDF and EPS and removes the preview watermark. Each file in a batch is unlocked separately. Changing formats or downloading the same unlocked file again does not spend another credit while its result remains available. A Starter subscription still requires at least one available eligible credit to unlock a new file. Verified Unlimited access includes these downloads without spending your saved credits.

For customer accounts, My files hides locked previews when your account has neither a verified paid subscription nor at least one available eligible paid download credit. Saved records become visible when either condition is met. A listed record may be expired; only available, unexpired results can be unlocked or downloaded. Listing a file does not spend a credit or unlock it. Already unlocked files remain listed if your subscription or credit balance later ends, unless you remove them; downloads remain subject to file expiry.

Saved previews are temporary: free previews normally remain available for 24 hours. Complete checkout and unlock the result before it expires. Unlocking an unexpired result with Starter provides at least 7 days of download availability from unlock; Unlimited provides at least 30 days. Other access uses its applicable retention window. Paying, renewing a subscription or downloading an already unlocked file again does not itself extend that file's expiry. My files shows the result's actual expiry. Payment does not recover an expired or deleted result, and non-expiring purchased credits do not provide permanent file storage. The private archive described in the Privacy Policy does not extend your download window.

Limited-time Starter offers: the standard allowance, any increased offer allowance and offer end time are shown in pricing. The first billing period keeps the allowance saved when your checkout is created, even if the offer later ends or is disabled. Each subsequent renewal uses the offer active when that renewal payment succeeds, or the then-current standard allowance if no offer is active. Yearly Starter allowances are 12 times the corresponding monthly allowance and are granted together for the annual period. Offer changes do not remove credits already granted or extend their original expiry. This recurring allowance offer is separate from any once-only first-payment checkout bonus.

Subscriptions already active before this Starter offer policy was introduced keep their original fixed credit allowance on renewal and eligible Starter monthly-to-yearly changes. The new offer policy does not reduce their allowance. If that subscription ends and you purchase a new subscription, the new purchase uses the terms shown at its checkout.

Subscription credits expire at the end of their billing period and do not roll over. Yearly credit allowances are granted together for the annual period. Previously purchased credit packs do not expire. Checkout bonuses, when offered, are granted once on an eligible first invoice with a positive amount paid and expire with that invoice's billing period; a fully discounted invoice does not earn that bonus. Credits held for a refund or already expired cannot be spent. Plan limits apply as follows:

• Free preview access: guests may create up to 2 single-image previews per browser guest session in 24 hours, with one outstanding job at a time and additional network and service-wide admission limits. A temporary essential cookie links that browser to its previews for 24 hours; clearing it, switching browsers or letting it expire can prevent recovery. Sign in and claim your preview on the same browser before that session expires; the existing image is transferred without another conversion. A free preview does not include a downloadable vector. Verified accounts without paid subscriptions may create up to 10 previews per hour; verified paid subscribers up to 60, subject to their concurrency, batch and upload limits.

• Starter: a monthly or yearly download-credit allowance as shown at checkout, one conversion running at a time and batches of up to 12 images when batch conversion is enabled. Outstanding jobs are limited to 12 per account; additional accepted jobs queue.

• Unlimited: normal interactive website use by one person without a monthly image quota. It does not include API access, scripts, bots, automated submission or account sharing. Two conversions may run at once, with batches and outstanding jobs limited to 50 images per account; additional jobs queue. Early-access enrollment can close to new subscribers without removing existing paid access. Upload format, file-size and security restrictions still apply.

• Promotional balances: free signup, referral, trial or standalone coupon credits and complimentary plan access alone do not unlock downloads. Eligible promotional credits can be used with a verified paid subscription. A displayed balance does not by itself prove payment or downloadable access.

• Credits have no cash value and are not withdrawable or transferable. Eligible cash refunds are assessed against the related payment under the Refund & Cancellation Policy, not against the cash value of a displayed balance.

8 Refunds

Eligible Starter and existing Pro subscription payments, including monthly and yearly renewals and eligible upgrades, qualify for a usage-adjusted refund when requested within 7 days (168 hours) of successful payment: actual amount paid × unused paid credits ÷ original paid credits, rounded down to cents. There must be a positive refundable amount. Credit usage is counted when a file is unlocked, not when a free preview is generated. Eligible Unlimited payments qualify for a full refund of the actual amount paid only when requested less than 72 hours after successful payment, including renewals and eligible upgrades, without a usage deduction. Eligibility is measured when the request is received, not when reviewed. Previously purchased one-time packs are non-refundable under this voluntary policy; free and promotional balances have no cash refund value.

Submit a request in Plan & credits → Payment history. If self-service is unavailable, a conversion or upgrade is pending, or a legacy payment or changed allowance needs manual review, contact [email protected] before the deadline. An administrator reviews requests before approved refunds are processed through Stripe to the original payment method; receipt timing depends on Stripe and your bank or payment provider. Affected credits or Unlimited access for new unlocks are held during review and removed on refund; rejection releases the hold without extending expiry. Previously unlocked results retain their existing expiry. A refund request does not cancel renewal. The Refund & Cancellation Policy explains calculations, exceptions, timing and support requests. Mandatory consumer rights, statutory withdrawal rights and remedies for billing errors remain unaffected.

9 Termination

You may stop using the Service and contact support to request account closure. To stop future subscription charges, also cancel renewal in Plan & credits. We may suspend or terminate account access for violations of these Terms, subject to applicable law. Canceling renewal is separate from account closure and does not itself forfeit otherwise valid credits or delete saved results. Credits and results remain subject to their applicable expiry, access restrictions and refund conditions. Account closure or suspension does not remove mandatory consumer rights or remedies for amounts lawfully owed to you.

10 Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided "as is" without express or implied warranties, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation or a particular conversion quality. These exclusions do not limit mandatory warranties or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

A format export or download can fail temporarily after a file has been unlocked. Retry while the result remains available or contact support; retries for that unlocked file do not spend another credit. An export error does not automatically reverse the unlock or issue a cash refund. Applicable refund and statutory remedies remain available.

11 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pixel2Vector and Bilal Ouahdou shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

12 Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Morocco, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you. Disputes are subject to Moroccan courts unless applicable mandatory law gives you the right to bring a claim in another jurisdiction. These Terms do not waive such rights.

13 Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
